WHO WEARE

KELLYFounder & Strategist

With over 20 years in food service and CPG, Kelly is a seasoned entrepreneur and operator who built a craft hot sauce company from scratch — writing original recipes, building and operating an FDA-registered manufacturing facility, developing distribution networks, expanding into international markets, and securing 700+ restaurant placements across the western United States with no outside capital. From product development and manufacturing to marketing, sales, and distribution, Kelly has done it all.

Kelly serves as Entrepreneur in Residence at IDEA Village in New Orleans and as a Mentor with StartOut in San Francisco, working directly with founders navigating the early stages of building their businesses from the ground up.

At Broccoli Media, Kelly leads strategy, paid media, systems, and operations. As a lifelong entrepreneur who has built a consumer product business from a kitchen to hundreds of restaurant menus, Kelly understands what small business owners actually need — and what marketing actually works.

When they're not working, you can find them riding their bike, lifting weights, reading, hanging with friends, and cooking.

ZOOMZContent & Social Lead

Originally from Oregon, Zoomz built her career managing and leading across some of the Pacific Northwest's most recognized brands — from Dutch Brothers Coffee to Courthouse Club Fitness. At Courthouse, she created Club Dance, a wildly popular hip hop dance workout that grew to run across five Salem locations. After five Salem locations, and at the height of her Club Dance career, Zoomz planned and coordinated a 500-person rooftop dance class. She spent years teaching and building community at Orangetheory, including helping open the Salem location — signing up founding members and running operations out of a FEMA trailer while the studio was being built.

But events are where she's legendary. As VP of Operations at Fringe + Co in New Orleans, she built the business from the ground up and produced some of the city's most talked-about experiences: a Mardi Gras brunch that sold out six years in a row, an Urban South brunch that sold out five years running, and a Taylor Swift selfie studio that sold out and brought in $100K in a single weekend.

At Broccoli Media, Zoomz leads content production, social media management, and event coverage — bringing a career's worth of community building, brand instinct, and creative energy to every client she works with.

When she's not working, you can find her petting every dog in sight, catching live music, attending events, hanging with friends, exercising, and drinking way too much coffee.

The Name

Why Broccoli?

There's a video of a little girl named Emmi being told there are broccolis on her plate, and she doesn't want to go to sleep -- because she's scared about broccoli.

That's how a lot of business owners sound when the conversation turns to social media, meta ads, the website design. You know you need incredible top of funnel of the marketing to attract that new customer, but you're not a website designer, you hate social media, and you don't want to waste money on Meta ads.

That's exactly why we built Broccoli Media. We help small businesses grow their revenue by transforming their digital resumes. We want every customer who searches your brand to be wowed by what they find, and when they are, they're going to spend their money with you.

ROOTED INNEW ORLEANS

Zoomz made her way to New Orleans seven years ago, drawn by the city's eclectic energy, its people, and a culture unlike anywhere else in the world.

Kelly came home four years ago, returning to their Louisiana roots and a city that runs on exactly the kind of creative, scrappy, community-driven entrepreneurship they've built their career around.

New Orleans isn't just the backdrop for Broccoli Media. It's the creative juice that powers our incredible work.

ROOTED INDENVER

Kelly spent fifteen years in Denver and built a business here from nothing, turning backyard garden experiments into a hot sauce company with its own manufacturing facility and national distribution.

More than 700 restaurant placements, most of them in Colorado, won one door at a time by picking a neighborhood every Tuesday and following up until they said yes.

Denver isn't a new market. It's the other half of our extensive professional community, and it's where we spend half our year.
